Project Description
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is conducting a 3 phase corridor study of the I-12 to Bush area to evaluate the feasibility of improving north-south roadway connections within St. Tammany Parish.

Project Area
The project area encompasses about 244 square miles within St. Tammany Parish. It is bounded by Louisiana Highway 21, US Highway 190, Interstate 12, US Highway 11 and Louisiana Highway 41.

Project Status
Phase I (Preliminary Corridor Study) of the Study, which started in January, 2002, was completed as of August 2002.

Phase II (Alternative Evaluation) began in March 2003. This phase will involve the identification and evaluation of all feasible alternatives. There will be two sets of three public meetings that will allow the public the opportunity to provide comments on the project as well as to identify alternatives they would like team to consider.
